Overview: The American Century Celebrity Golf Championship is one of America's top celebrity tournaments. Held annually at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in South Lake Tahoe, this championship offers total prize money of more than a half-million dollars.
Held in early July, this multi-day, 54-hole tournament has attracted dozens of celebrities annually, both from the world of movies and television and from the realm of professional sports as well. Recent participants have included Charles Barkley, Tony Romo, LaDainian Tomlinson, Ray Romano, Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith and Stone Phillips.

Details: Proceeds from the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship benefit a different charity each year and spectators may purchase tickets for individual rounds of golfing or for the entire tournament. Tickets are reasonably priced and provide the opportunity to view some of the best celebrity and amateur golfers in the U.S. An autograph area is available before and after rounds.
