What can be better than Brews, Jazz and Funk? Nothing according to the citizens of Lake Tahoe's Squaw Valley! The annual affair, which in August 2008 will celebrate is 7th event in, is full of brews, dancing shoes and groovy tunes that attract tourists and locals from near and far.

One of the most rockin' events of the summer. What could be better than good brew and good music in a beautiful mountain setting? Nothing!

With a great selection of beer for guests to sample and an incredible line-up of music both days the Brews, Jazz & Funk Fest is your chance to make great summer memories - all benefiting the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. $5 entry fee - entry & beer sales benefit the HSTT.

Overview: The annual Squaw Valley Brews, Jazz and Funk Fest comes alive with pedestrians walking the streets, sampling an astounding variety of twenty five different beers. Breweries from the High Sierra's and beyond come a calling to have the best of the best of their brews tested by the throngs of passersby. Nothing goes better than summertime, a few cold ones and great live music. The festival lines up fantastic musicians that aim to please the whole day and night.

Details: The beautiful Squaw Valley setting only adds to the pleasant feel of the festival. The pedestrian town is located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore. 

Visitors can arrive at Lake Tahoe via Interstate 80 or if flying in, by any of the Lake Tahoe Express shuttles. Squaw Valley is just down Highway 89.
