Incline Village Nevada
There is nothing flat about the terrain in and around Incline Village, Nevada. One of the communities on the eastern side of the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, the Village was actually named for the Great Incline Tramway built by loggers in 1878. Now, the mountainsides are speckled with multi-million dollar houses.
Incline Village is the place where you will find great relaxing beaches and a gentle way of life. There is always something fun to do in Incline Village, regardless of the time of year. During the summer, nearby Sand Harbor hosts the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and the mountains sides are rich with wonderful mountain bike trails.
In the winter, skier and boarders find their way to Diamond Peak – located within the city limits – and Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. Because Incline Village is located in Nevada, you can also find casino gaming uptown, which makes for a lively uptown environment.
