Overview

Home to 4,000 acres of skiable terrain, a 2,850’ vertical drop, 33 lifts, and 400 inches of annual snowfall, Squaw Valley lives up to its reputation as one of Tahoe’s greatest winter resort destinations.

Location

Squaw Valley is located on Tahoe’s north shore on Highway 89. From Tahoe City, take Highway 89 north for 6 miles where you’ll turn left onto Squaw Valley Road.

Season/Hours

Squaw is generally open from mid-November to mid-April. Lift hours are 9am to 4pm. Night skiing hours are 4pm to 9pm.

Mountain Services

Squaw offers a variety of on mountain services including equipment rentals and demos, equipment tuning and repair, retail stores, kid’s clinics, child care, lessons, a teen freeride camp, and a variety of dining options.
