Rates vary dramatically depending on where you depart. From Reno to Truckee, expect to pay approximately $22 per adult.

- Eastbound Trains (From the Bay Area to North Lake Tahoe): The train leaves Emeryville at 9:10am and leaves Sacramento at 11:09am. The train arrives in Truckee (closest stop to North Lake Tahoe) at 2:38pm and Reno at 4:06pm. There are several other stops in between the bay area and Sacramento.
- Westbound Trains (From Reno to North Lake Tahoe): The train leaves Reno at 8:36am and arrives in Truckee at 9:37am. The train continues on to Sacramento, arriving at 2:13pm and Emeryville, arriving at 7:25pm. There are several other stops in between the bay area and Sacramento.
