Summer Activities

• Water Sports
  Lake Tahoe watersports are available for all ages and all interests. Everything from para-sailing for the more adventurous to pedal boats for a more relaxing and quiet afternoon. Of course there is waterskiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, jet-skiing, canoeing, float planes, windsurfing and more.
• Hiking/Biking
  The terrain around South Lake Tahoe has single track, forest roads, and paved pathways that are great for biking and hiking.

• Sleigh Rides
  Enjoy an old fashioned sleight ride in one of several antique European Sleights. You and your companions on the sleigh will experience breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe.
• Dogsledding
  Sit back in a comfortable sled while an experienced musher guides a team of strong, friendly huskies through pristine forests and meadows of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Glide through the backcountry of Tahoe National Forest under blue skies of mid-day or take the full moon tour and experience the forest floor in the soft glow of moon light.
• Ice Skating
  The South Tahoe Ice Arena is a full service state of the art ice skating facility. This facility consists of a regulation NHL size sheet of ice, locker rooms, snack bar, retail store, arcade and party rooms. This public facility offers ice skating and hockey lessons as well as public skate sessions.
• Snowmobiling
  Winter is a beautiful time to explore the Lake Tahoe’s National Forest. Miles of roads and trails offer excellent opportunities for winter enjoyment.
• Tubing
  Squaw Valley USA Tubing Hill is a great place to cruise the white stuff on their custom tubes. Two tubing lanes are maintained providing tubers a variety of thrill levels.
• Skiing/Snowboarding
  You’ll find incredible ski opportunities around South Lake Tahoe, with the numerous nearby ski resorts.
