Think Heavenly is only open during the winter? Think again. During the summer visitors can enjoy activities such as hiking, fishing, and rides on the gondola.
Scenic Gondola Rides
Heavenly Gondola transports passengers from 6000 feet to just over 9000 feet in less than 15 minutes. At the top, visitors can enjoy lunch at the summit restaurant, or head out to East Peak Lake or Skyline Trail.
Hiking
After taking the gondola to the summit, you can access Skyline Trail, which winds around the peak of the mountain. After the hike, catch the gondola back to the base.
Fishing
Accessible from the gondola, Heavenly’s East Peak Lake is open for fishing with special permission from mountain operations.
Miniature Golf
During the summer, Heavenly’s ice rink transforms into an 18 hole miniature golf course. The course is open daily during summer, usually from late spring through early fall.
